Question 4 - What does Montgomery County need to do to achieve Vision Zero, eliminating traffic deaths and serious injuries?

Transcript: (Yelling) Can you hear me? (Normal Talking) I’m standing in front of a sign at a major intersection announcing a project that’s been on hold so long to get people off the streets that the sign itself is starting to deteriorate, so it’s not for a lack of ideas. We have a lack of funding and a lack of will to get it done. If we can do those things, we can implement Vision Zero. Now in Montgomery County, the county takes care of county roads, the state highway administration takes care of state roads, and it is the perfect case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. I think we should enter into an agreement where Montgomery County will taket care of the roads that are here, and the state will give us a block grant of money to do so. If we can do that, we can save lives.
