About the Steering Committee

The steering committee helps create and implement strategy for the group’s advocacy priorities, advises on the growth and direction of the group, and approves monthly meeting ideas. Steering committee members are expected to uphold the mission, vision, and beliefs of the organization. Read more in our ways of working document.

Elections

Elections are held annually in September to select steering committee members and advocacy priorities for the next year. Members interested in joining the steering committee must declare their interest to the Coalition for Smarter Growth organizer a month prior to the election commencement. Each member may submit only one ballot.
